Hire Charges and Payment

A single charge is made for the hire of the main hall, kitchen and stage. It does not include the office to the rear of the building.

The minimum hire period is two hours during weekdays and four hours from Friday evening to Sunday inclusive. The hire period must include time for set up, clearing away and cleaning.

The charge is £15 per hour.

Electricity will be charged according to usage.  The amount will be deducted from the deposit at the end of the hire period. 

The charge for a two-day weekend booking is £250.

Discounts are available to local residents and regular users of the hall by arrangement with the Village Hall Management Committee – please email info@killiecrankievillagehall.co.uk.

A refundable damage deposit of £50 is to be paid at the time of booking. This will be returned (less the amount for electricity usage)  after the hire providing the premises and grounds are left in good order.

For bookings more than two months in advance a deposit of 25% of the booking fee will be required, with the balance (plus security deposit) paid eight weeks before the booking date.

In the event of cancellation the deposit will be forfeited – other than in circumstances beyond the control of the Village Hall Management Committee as explained in paragraph 22 of the Terms and Conditions.

Payment is to be made by completing the secure online form which will be sent when a booking request has been accepted.
